Prototype Proposal

Luminous
Intelligence.

A wellness/luxury consumer mask (not a medical device): facial red light therapy (RLT), optional NIR for deeper skin, optional detachable tPBM for forehead/temples, and micro-pulse for comfort and circulation. The base mask operates alone for skin-only use; tPBM and pulsing are add-ons. This proposal outlines the build approach for a functional prototype.

Elite Lumina prototype mask with RLT, NIR and tPBM modules

Build Approach

Product is positioned as a wellness/luxury consumer device, not a medical device. Prototype shells will be 3D-printed on a BambuLab P1S for fit and ergonomics. Design targets low-EMF layout and shielding for the biohacking community; exterior should support premium materials and thoughtful industrial design so the mask can function as a considered object when not worn, without compromising light delivery, thermals or safety.

  • DC-First Power Planned DC power delivery to keep electrical noise low in the prototype.
  • Modular tPBM Option Detachable modules at forehead and/or temples; optional. Base mask works standalone for skin-only use.

The Lumina Spectrum

Facial RLT + NIR (skin)

630–660nm red (LED array: cheeks, jawline, nose, forehead) for superficial layers, mitochondrial/ATP support, collagen and texture. 850nm NIR integrated in mask (non-brain) for deeper skin penetration and circulation. Mask operates independently without tPBM attached.

Transcranial (tPBM)

810–850nm NIR via detachable modules at forehead and/or temples. Intended to support mitochondrial function and cerebral blood flow; outcomes may include relaxation, mental clarity, cognitive support. Wellness use only; optional and only active when modules are attached.

Micro-pulse (frequency)

Low-frequency rhythmic modulation: pulsed light and/or gentle mechanical micro-vibration. Aims to enhance circulation, comfort and a calming ritual feel; implementation (light vs vibration, safety, noise) TBD with engineering.

Use cases: facial mask only (skin) · mask + micro-pulse on/off · mask + tPBM modules (with or without pulsing, if feasible).
